Sent to a friendI am gay. I told myself I wasn't for years...that I was simply..a little bi. And I'm 37. I'd love to tell my elderly parents but it would destroy them.
My confession is simple and utterly pathetic.
I want a lover and I want to be out.
I wish I'd had the strength when I was an adolescent to have come out.
The truth would have been better for all of us.
